Jericho Wharf Campaign

The Jericho Wharf Trust has now produced a three minute video on their campaign to end the dereliction of the Canalside development site. Please take a look here. The group are trying to persuade the City Council to make the first steps towards a Compulsory Purchase Order to regain control of the site. Anyone keen to help is encouraged to write to our Councillors.

179 Kingston Rd - Update

The works at the old Frog Orange site are scheduled to start on 1st December, starting with hoarding alterations on St Bernards Rd. From the week commencing 8th December, the builders will begin the preparatory activities on site with stripping out, asbestos removal, electrics relocation and removal of internal walls.
The full demolition will start on Monday 5th January 2026.

Charity Carols - 19th December from 5pm

During Covid, The Clarendon Consort began their roving Christmas Carols event to bring some much needed cheer to the Community. This year they will again be singing and raising money for Charity and we hope you will come out and support them.

Timings are as follows:
5pm in Warnborough Road, then
5.30pm in Southmoor Road

Our next WMRA Meet the Neighbours event is nearly upon us. Please do join us on:

at The Gardeners Arms, Plantation Road.

Hopefully we will see some of you there but we wish all the residents of Walton Manor a peaceful and joyous festive season.
