Come and Meet Your Neighbours!

Following a successful evening in July, we hope you will join us for our next Meet Your Neighbours event which is planned as follows:

When: Wednesday 11th December 2024
What time: From 5.30pm
Where: The Gardeners Arms, Plantation Road

It will be a very informal evening so please pop along if you are free. Hopefully you will have a chance to meet old neighbours and also some new ones.

AGM

Our AGM is nearly upon us. In addition to an overview of our activities during the year, we have been lucky enough to secure a great speaker, Baroness Jan Royall, Principal of Somerville College, who will talk to us about her views on the relationship between 'Town' and 'Gown' in 2024.

Where: The Main Hall, d'Overbroeck's School, Leckford Place

Woodstock Road construction works update

We have heard from the Council that the works on St Margaret's Road should be complete within three weeks, meaning that junction can fully open once more in both directions. The work will then continue on the other side roads into the new year.

Dinner in aid of the Walton Well drinking fountain repairs

A reminder that there will be a dinner held at Al Shami on Richmond Rd on Sunday 17th November 2024 to help the fundraising efforts for the renovation. Cost is £50. Please email James Fry for places, giving dietary requirements.
