Road/Parking Notices

Oxfordshire County Council have issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order concerning the closure of Adelaide Street from 4th January 2026. This is being introduced to allow installation of LV electricity supply. It is a 24 hour a day closure and it is anticipated that the work will be finished by 29th January 2026. Exemptions are included for emergency vehicles and access to premises only accessible from that section of the road.
Further information can be obtained by contacting GTM South East on 01787 237508.

The County Council has also set up a consultation concerning the proposal to install some Disabled Parking bays at various locations across Oxford, including one on Kingston Road. Any objections or other representations must be submitted by Friday 24th October 2025.

Schwarzman Centre Opens

Not exactly in WMRA, but nearby in Jericho, The Schwarzman Centre opens to academics from 13th October and the cultural programme for the general public starts next year. They have now launched their website selling tickets to events from April. You can become a 'member' to get early access to bookings or simply buy tickets once they are posted online. Here is the website.

Enjoy the beautiful Autumn colours that are starting to appear on the trees now,

Best wishes
