NEWS ITEM

Aristotle Lane

Footpath improvements start on 23rd September

Improvements to the Aristotle Lane footpath will shortly commence and will take around two weeks. The work will involve grading off and levelling the existing footpath material and compacting it to allow a material called Flexi-pave to be laid. This will improve the footpath surface and is a porous material, allowing for decent drainage. There will be three phases:

  1. Phase 1 Blue area: this will take 4 days to complete, once this is done there will be access and egress from the steps on the Eastern side and the bridge on the Western side to gain access to the allotments by foot.
  2. Phase 2 yellow area : 3 days
  3. Phase 3 Green area : 3days
