Walton Manor residents celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III

The committee gets ready before the event

Part of the Big Help Out

On Monday May 8th 2023, Walton Manor Residents’ Association organised a get together at the Gardeners’ Arms pub on Plantation Road to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. The event was part of the Big Help Out and all money raised was donated to the local charity Home Start Oxford. Lots of fun was had with a treasure hunt around Walton Manor for the children, a raffle for everyone else and in the evening, local teams competed in a fiendish quiz with Mayor James Fry as quizmaster. Huge thanks go to all the staff at the Gardeners Arms.

Live music throughout the afternoon

Local residents were extremely generous with offerings for the raffle

Enjoying the quiz!
